Information Designer.
Educator.
Brand Strategist.

Teaching design thinking through real-world practice.

I bridge theory with practice, helping students develop both technical skills and critical thinking. My journey from graphic design to UX design and education has shaped my approach to teaching and problem solving.

Background

My journey spans from graphic design to production management in Toronto, culminating in my current role as an Information Design Instructor. Each experience has deepened my understanding of visual communication, brand strategy, and educational design.

Philosophy

These experiences taught me to understand people, anticipate needs, and design with empathy.

Today, I help students connect practice with real-world complexity. I see design not as a single discipline — but as a way of moving through the world with curiosity and intent.

UX & Interaction

The main body of my current design practice focuses on creating digital experiences that bridge user behaviour with business objectives.

Each project becomes an opportunity to explore how design thinking can solve complex problems.

Approach

My approach combines systematic research with intuitive design solutions, always informed by real-world testing and user feedback.

I maintain human connection and usability at the center of every decision, ensuring solutions are both functional and meaningful.

Practice

Before formal UX study, I explored design through everyday practice — in visual storytelling, and in quick-turnaround freelance.

These moments shaped my sense of timing, form, and attention to context.

Experience

Service as Design: Understanding systems, service flows, and developing deep empathy for user experience in high-pressure environments.

Visual Storytelling: Creating graphics for screen and print, learning to communicate quickly and effectively across different media.

Teaching

I currently teach Information Design and Branding/Marketing Strategy at George Brown College. My approach centers on inquiry, applied practice, and supporting students in building sustainable creative processes that bridge theory with real-world application.

Mentorship

Teaching has deepened my understanding of design fundamentals and keeps me connected to emerging perspectives in the field.

Through mentorship, I help emerging designers develop both technical skills and the critical thinking necessary for meaningful design practice.

Let's Collaborate

Currently open to collaborations, teaching opportunities, and mentorship.

Design is how I make sense of experience. It's the sum of systems, emotions, and choices — made visible.
